ABOUT ME

For me, it all began in the streets of Shkodra, Albania, where I had the opportunity to explore and deepen my understanding of my origins. Stories took shape in my mind, transforming into images and sparking the need to capture them in some way, so as not to forget. This led me to discover drawing and, later, photography—a tool that at first intimidated me, but soon became a personal diary. Line and light became essential instruments for giving form to shapes born from memory, identity, and lived experience. In 1999, I enrolled at the Prenke Jakova School of Music in the figurative arts program, specializing in painting. Under the guidance of artists such as Ismail Lulani, Zef Paci, and Agron Mesi, I discovered an intense attraction to art. This passion led me to move to Turin to continue my studies at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti, where in 2007 I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Painting and a Master’s degree in 2011. During this period, I also explored other disciplines, such as theater and graphic arts, broadening my visual language. In 2012, I embarked on a new journey in sculpture, approaching the plasticity of form and questioning my artistic certainties. My research evolved through a fusion of classical forms from tradition with more conceptual perspectives, culminating in 2016 with the completion of a Second-Level Diploma in Sculpture. Today, my artistic language is multidisciplinary. My work moves between figuration and conceptuality, exploring light and shadow as elements that define form and preserve memory. My art arises from a deep desire to express emotions and inner life, with a language that combines technical rigor with poetic sensitivity. I have participated in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad and collaborated on editorial and interdisciplinary projects. My work is distinguished by an experimental approach, the blending of traditional techniques with new technologies, and a constant search for an identity in dialogue with matter and light.
